Since the age of five, Jan has been

"making art", and has been a  professional artist throughout her whole life.  She started her career working for Hallmark Cards and has been working as a freelance illustrator and licensing product designer for a number of years.  When not working on her Mac, she has a passion for creating "stuff" with her hands, crafting in many different mediums including textiles, beading, and upcycling "old things" into new.  She has a love for unconventional fashion and jewelry design.  You can find a few of her handmade items in her Etsy shop.

 Jan has two children, Amy and Bryan, and lives with her husband, Roger along with her little rescue pup, Dolly Dee.
